Technology and Fear

Play is conventionally associated with joy and fun. Nevertheless, aspects of technical play related to the fear of technology should not be ignored. I presented a relevant paper entitled “Robots and Bricks: Using Play to Cope with a Menacing Technological Future” at the Interdisciplinary Workshop, The Multifaceted Relationship between Fear and Technology, 10–12 October 2018, Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Human Development, Berlin.
