XLV Symposium of the Scientific Instrument Commission It was a privilege and a pleasure to attend the XLV Symposium of the Scientific Instrument Commission (SIC) at the University of Neuchâtel, by the lake (7–11 September 2026). Five days packed with fascinating presentations, exciting museum visits (highlight: the Jaquet-Droz automata), great food and, above all, plenty of informal interactions with old and new friends. I presented a paper entitled: Innovation and Liberty: Scientific Instruments in the Greek Revolution (1821–1830). Post navigation ITRA Prize for Construction Toys book
